Article Marketing is a good way to tap into search engine traffic, and if your article is interesting enough, people will start to publish it on their website around the world! If you can tap into the search engine, create a viral effect with the articles by offering viral e-books and videos, you can increase your effort exponentially!

Here are some tips to tap into the Search Engine:

Search the keyword you are targeting, try to find the long tail keyword that has an exact match of 5000 to 10,000, anything more will require more back link, might not be worth doing it!

Use high page rank website to host the article – Such as Squidoo, Hubpages, Wordpress.com, Blogger.com or Ezinearticles.com.

Put keyword in your title, if possible, repeat the keyword twice.

Put keyword in your first paragraph.

Put keyword in your middle paragraph.

Put keyword in your Last paragraph.

Your keyword should be in LSI theme, meaning using theasurous or “~” key to find related theme. I will explain this other time. The simplify version, just type “~your keyword” into Google, the bold words is the theme keywords!

Proof read your article and try to use AIDA formula, get them click through to your website.

Use socialmarker.com to bookmark your article with the keyword you want, optimize the title and description like the article. Put the URL to the article then bookmark.

For every 5 to 10 bookmark, slightly change the title and description, then continue to do it until all bookmark done. (If you can split the bookmark process to 2 or 3 days even better).

Wait for few days and Google the keyword to see if your article appears?

If not, find where is the article, on page 4 or 5? Continue to build more back link to the article with blog comment or forum signature or create social media pages to link back to your article!

If your article still doesn’t show, you must be doing something wrong or the keyword you are targeting is too competitive! Try to find long tail keyword that has an exact match of 5000 or below, 10,000 is ok, anything more will require more back link, might not be worth doing it!

This is one of the best way to tap search engine traffic, another way to use article is to write tons of it, submit to as many directories as possible, flood the Internet with your articles! This way you can skip the SEO work and concerntrate on the topic.

You can just write and rewrite the topic again and again, somehow it will end up hiting the user keywords! If you can get 100 to 500 keywords targeted article out there, you can starts to see the power of article marketing!

After you have enough experience with article marketing, you can start to learn how to write 1 article and tap into stampede of hungry and laser targeted traffic!
