Increase Your Page Ranking Placement With “On Page Optimization” !
Many people ignored on page optimization, they only focus on off page optimization and this is stupid! What ever you do off page, on page optimization multiply the effect! It is recommended to do some proper on page optimization before you start your back links campaign.
How do you do on page optimization? The traditional way are:
- Put your keyword on the title
- Put your keyword on the first paragraph
- Put your keyword in the middle paragraph
- Put your keyword in the last paragraph
- Bold your keyword
- Put your keyword inside <h1> tag
- Underline your keyword
While the above still works, but you might encounter some problems if you over done it:
- Repeat the keyword too many times, try to keeep it between 3% ~ 5%.
- Bold the keyword too many times
- Underline the keyword too many times
If you rely solely on keyword to optimize your on page and off page campaign, you are missing the big picture. Google and other search engine has or going to implement LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) to their search engine algorithm to filter spamy website and to provide more relevant web result!
Try to put the “~” character in front of any keywords, you will find all the theme keywords in Google! Let’s try “~golf”, you can see all the theme keywords in bold:
- Golf
- Sport
- Country Club
- Sports
- Club
- Golf & Country
Above listing is just the first page, you can look at the second page and so on…

Use all these tools to find out all the related theme and synonym keywords, use them in your web page or article, they will increase your chances to rank well in Google! Theme keywords should be use in the anchor text of your offline campaign, it will make the page looks more natural, and you will get rank higher for the sets of theme keywords, to dominate Google, you still need more back links to your page!
