While the free and shared blog platform might give you the good start, but eventually you lost the flexibility of customizing your blog, and to optimize your blog for your target audience. If you start your blog with quality content, you can easily capture and build your audience when you start to get traffic. A successful blogger will always participate on related forums and blog communities, interact and build relationship with other bloggers. Comment and blog about other blogger’s blog will help you build good relationship with other bloggers, and when you have good content on your post, they will link to it just like what you did.

Increase Blog Traffic Strategy #06 – Comment on other blogs.

You should find all blogs related to your niche, use Google reader to subscribe to their feeds and check what’s new everyday. Ask your reader to opt-in to your list and send them your first e-books. Use the AIDA formula to make your reader fall in love with your e-book and remember **DO NOT** close your door at the last page of your e-book, make them so desired and ask to send them to a tell-a-friend page and ask them to help you spread the first e-book! From SEO stand point, link out is not neccessary a bad thing as long as it add values to the post.

Please don’t over do the link bait, you should post a link bait page for the maximum of 1 per month, or at least every 30 posts. Too much link bait will degrade your blog value and doesn’t do anyone any good.

Increase Blog Traffic Strategy #16 – Promote your brand.

Professional blogger such as Problogger.net, Shoemoney.com, JohnChow.com, Entrepreneurs-Journey.com, and many more have successfully promoted their brand using logo, T-shirt, photo, video, pod cast and many methods to build their name, they are well known between bloggers.

Define your blog character and mission at start, try towards promoting with such a characteristic and eventually promote all products with it!
