Introduction to Google Chrome

I have been using Google Chrome for a week now, very impressive, because I haven’t had a break down yet! and the Speed is awesome! If you have not downloaded yet, please do so:

This is not just another browser, this is Google answer to Ultra fast web JavaScript application, a strong weapon against Windows operating system. We can foresee in the near future, more web application will be integrated into Google Chrome!

Google Gears is another powerful library that allows developer to create offline / desktop application, we can expect more support for Google Gears in the next few years! and Wordpress is one of the first who uses Google Gears to accelerate loading, and my experience is Good!

Accelerate Your Wordpress Admin!

Before we continue, go Download Google Gears.

With Google Gears alone, you can expect 5~15% faster on your Wordpress Blog Admin area, if you use Google Chrome together, It feels like 15~25% faster than using Firefox! Let’s take a look:

Login in to your admin area, you will notice on the top right hand site, a link called “Turbo”, click on it!

Then follow the instruction to download the components, wait till it downloaded all components, you will see this screen:

Your Wordpress is ready to rock! If you don’t want to use Google Chrome, you can do the same with IE and Firefox, just Download and Install Google Gears will do the job.
