If you are using WordPress blog software, like the one on this blog, you must get some of the free plugins from MaxBlogPress:

1. Different Posts Per Page -This plugin allows you to have different post’s count on home page, category and archive. You might want your home page to show 10 posts, category page to show 5 posts and archive page you might want 15 posts!

2. MaxBlogPress DealDotCom Widget – This widget plugin will help you to sell DealDotCom product with auto retrieve “Deal of the Day”, and generate an affiliate link for other webmaster, you earn 2^nd tier commission as well.

3. BlogRush Click Maximizer – BlogRush is a widget created by John Reese for the purpose of traffic exchange that will eventually increase your traffic. Below is the screenshot of BlogRush:

This plugin will help you maximize your BlogRush click through rate by including BlogRush links into your RSS feeds, and it let you modify your title to shorter, meaningful and very tempting title!

4. MaxBlogPress Unblockable Popup – You need this plugin to collect opt-in emails, or show message for certain promotion during a period of time. You can control how frequent you want to show the popup, and this method is proven to be very effective!

You can design your popup with the nice WYSIWYG html editor, there is no limit to your popup!

5. MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer – This is my favorite plugin, and absolutely for every WordPress blogger. WordPress will automatically ping the ping services for new content on your blog, this is good; Unfortunately, WordPress seems to ping the services everytime a post is re-save. You don’t want to ping the services everytime you make any changes, they might ban you from using their services! This plugin will control and manage your ping.

You can easily control how many times you allow WordPress to ping for you within a time frame! And it keeps a log of ping result that let you maintain your ping list easily from time to time. I will attach my favorite ping list here:

6. MaxBlogPress Stripe Ads – If you do not know what is a Stripe Ad, see the picture below:

You can use this plugin to show important messages or ads to your visitors, and it always at the top of your blog. I don’t use this plugin, but John Chow seems to use it a lot on his blog.

7. Psychic Search – A search analysis search that reveal your reader search statistic, help you know more about your readers.

8. MaxBlogPress Favicon – Favicon is a small icon on your blog or any website’s address bar, you can easily customize your blog’s favicon with this plugin.

9. SEO Post Link – A powerful permalink optimizer, allows you to remove unnecessary words from your permalink, make it shorter and more search engine friendly.

10. Duplicate Post Checker – This plugin help you find duplicate or similar post, especially useful for RSS “auto blogging” types of blog to find similar posting!

11. Max Banner Ads – This is a mini banner ads management plugin, it provides rotate ads, click tracking and some simple ads management feature, if you want more powerful banner ads management software, you should take a look at OpenX.
