Are you using twitter to promote the affiliate product? If not, you should start doing it!

I don’t use twitter much, I find it very time consuming, and you might be stuck to the page the whole day! However, using twitter to promote the affiliate product is the same as using forum…

If you promote your affiliate page or affiliate link on the forum, some members will start to question your credibility! I found that many people are very ANTI affiliates, may be they were scam by affiliate who just want their money and promote a crappy product, and they start to think that all affiliate marketers are evil.

Same principle here, if you want to promote the affiliate product, you should only do it on your website. When you join the conversation, focus on providing good content that draw their attention to your website or blog, don’t promote it directly, or they will start to go away…

However, this is not the golden rule, I am sure there are exception, just be careful…

Backlinks from other websites

When someone pick up your article and post them in their website, they will give you a link back to your site, not only the page rank being pass to you, also the visitors and traffic! To be effective with this method, you need to build a list of publisher. Certainly you can just post it to article directories and wait for them to be pick up, but this will be very slow…

You don’t have to build the list immediately, but you can discover them after some time, (when they pick up your article on the article directory!) you can add them to your broadcast list and send them your latest article whenever available.

The key to attract them and also your reader is your article title! You must learn how to write compeling header, this is not hard, just take a look at the article directory (especially in Ezinearticles.com), you will find all kind of attractive header!

Piggy back the search engine

If you take a look at the top articles in Ezinearticles.com, you will find there are over hundreds of thousands views in those articles! and all of them are from search engine! To piggy back on search engine, you must do “SEO on page optimization”, put keyword in your title, first paragraph, middle paragraph and last paragraph. Must becareful not to do it too much or Ezinearticles will not approve it!

You also need to use synonyms and thesauroses for the keywords to look natural, all kinds of on page optimization…

Normally, any long tail keywords with result less than 5000 in exact match will almost guaranteed to rank page 1! But if the keywords already being occupied or the search result is too many, you need to build more back links to the article to push it up! You can do that by using Social Media page and Social Bookmarking…

Conclusion

Article is the best way to draw laser targeted traffic to your website, sales page and opt-in list! And it keeps working and working in the long term! Because article, content and information is what make up of the Internet! And search engine just love them…!

After some time, I found that beside Google Adwords, the fastest way to earn your affiliate income is to tap into another HIGH Page rank and Google Favors websites as a jumpstart to promote affiliate products!

You can easily use web 2.0 to promote your product, affiliate product and your own website! What kind of site I am talking about? Check this out:

1. EzineArticles – The must have article marketer site, this is a page rank 5 or 6 website, you can easily rank high in the Google search result with few or no back link! The key is to do well on page optimization.
