Introduction

Google the Big “G” is the king of search engine, if you want to build a constant and long term online business, you must learn this powerful technique that will dominate Google and other search engine’s result page, for a very long time!

What if I told you, there is a very effective way to rank well on Google with any keywords and yet requires much less back links and authority? You can easily out rank many authority sites with high page rank and few thousands or even hundreds of thousands back links!

Before going into depth discussion, I must first introduce Google ranking secrets – How Google knows what result is the most relevant to the user’s searches?

For instance, if I type “Playing Golf” and “Golf GTi”, Google will automatically sort the most relevant result for the user and they are correct! How did Google know the difference? If you type the keyword “Tiger” and “Tiger Woods”, Google will know what are you searching for, isn’t that amazing?

This is the well known SEO concept of LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) – The theme based keywords indexing. According to Axandra Newsletter of SEO LSI back in 2005:

LSI means that a search engine tries to associate certain terms with concepts when indexing web pages. For example, Paris and Hilton are associated with a woman instead of a city and a hotel, Tiger and Woods are associated with golf.

Google has been using this concept to determine suitable ads for its AdSense service for some time now. It seems that Google is now also using this concept to improve the quality of its search results.

If you search for a keyword on Google and add a tilde ~ before the search term, then you get an idea of what Google thinks about a search term.

Theme based SEO techniques is used widely on articles and website, however, there is one crucial technique that everyone else don’t seem to apply – SEO Siloing (co-occurrence matrix). This is the most powerful technique in combination with the theme based keywords to out rank many other authority sites!

What is SEO SILO?

SEO Silo structure is a way to group your content, build relevancy internally and boost ranking with the minimum effort! Let me show you an example using Golf:

As shown in the diagram above, when you look for Golf travel related information, the Golf training page will never be shown! Furthermore, Google absolutely loves this well structured website because it helps to define the relationship of each topic (The LSI!). Now, let’s look at the next diagram, each article in its’ category will only link to other “category”, no linking between different group’s articles!

We build back links to each article with “long tail keywords”, not only long tail keywords is easier to rank, it is more targeted and more relevance to the visitor’s search, and convert to sale far better than general terms! You can use Articlemarketingautomation, Traffic Kahuna and SENuke with Web 2.0 to build authority back links to each article, you should create some back links to the “main category” as well!

You can interlink with each article within the same group, at the same time, link back to the “major category” – Such as Golf Travel, Golf Training, Golf Equipment… and anytime you mention the Word Golf, you can link it back to the Home page – Golf! If you want to link with other category articles, you show use “nofollow” link.

Internal Linking structure will greatly help the Search Engine to build a strong profile on your website, and you can easily gain “Authority” status with the well structured categories and articles! You will dominate all Golf related niches with ** Fewer Back Links ** (I mean not just less, but a lot less!) as in comparison to non “SEO SILO Structured sites”.

Here is an example of the actual site structure in your website directory structure:

With this structure alone, you gain a good reputation from Google, and your site can rank far better than normal sites. With combination of theme keywords on each articles, major categories and home page, you can easily rank well with many theme related keywords, and I suspect even some theme related keywords that are not mention here will be considered! Bringing tons of traffic from some non-exsitance keywords to your site that you can continue to use and build more pages! (Continue on second page…)
