Video is becoming more and more important to Internet marketer, you can easily tap into Google traffic with a very high page rank video site, such as youtube (pagerank 9!), with few backlinks from bookmarking site or social media, you can dominate the search engine for a long time!

Video above demostrate how this video dominated Google search for “Internet Video Marketing”. If you create a very Interesting video, people are going to distribute it for you, and the traffic from all over the world will be flooded into your website! Michael Koenigs did a good SEO job to bring the video in first place of the keyword “Internet Video Marketing”, by the way, he is also the famous Traffic Geyser owner!

Many marketers use powerpoint and camtasia to create very good presentation, easily drive people to their site or blog for more information.

Key to good video marketing is to connect yourself with your visitor, talk to their needs and give them what they want, this link back to the AIDA concept:

A – Attention

A – Action

Look at the top 3 traffic sites – Yahoo, Google, Youtube! Imagine all those traffic that you are missing if you don’t try video marketing! Let’s look at the pageview:

People stay in youtube longer than Google and Myspace (Because they view more pages…)! Let’s look at comScore report:

You should start making video now, may be you and many other people are just like me when starting to do video marketing:

1. Video is hard to learn and make
2. I don’t want to show my face
3. Don’t know what to say
4. Time consuming…
5. And tons of reasons!

Well, just do it! You first plan what type of videos you want to do, below is few of it:

1. Infomercial (Commercial with information)
2. Interview
3. Testimonial
4. Presentation

At the end of the video, remember to advertise your link back to your web pages, and don’t forget to create a direct link in your description of the video, and your social media page on the video site. The video should be 1 to 5 minutes, the purpose is to AIDA them to your site, not entertaining them, so do it short and effectively.

You should be able to see instant effect very fast, especially you know how to tap into search engine traffic, optimize your video messages and write good copy on your website!
